JOB ROLES INCLUDE:

1) A small company – established three years ago which is looking to grow and expand has produced a Baby Massage Kit selling into Mothercare and seven independents (physical stores and on line). The company is keen to introduce further products into its range, all designed to enable parents and babies to bond well together.  A mentor is required who has experience with product development, expanding ranges, marketing and financial awareness.  The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the ‘baby’ business.  At this stage, the role would be as a mentor but a stake in the business will be offered as it grows.

2) An individual is required who can assist the existing management team in commercializing an exciting “waste to energy” technology.  Responsibilities include helping to secure funding, securing formal agreement with business partners and establishing a production capability in the UK in line with current strategy.  Sweat equity is available.

3) A dynamic company which has developed a world leading easy to use gait monitoring system (main markets are healthcare (rehab after surgery or injury), sports performance, and falls prevention for the elderly) is looking to recruit a CEO to aid expansion into the markets defined.  The candidate should have a strong background in raising finance for products to be used in the healthcare markets for both public and private sectors.  This role is paying some remuneration, plus sweat equity and can be remotely based.

4) A company that provides Software as a Service (Saas) products from its private ‘cloud’ – and, uniquely, staff who can take over the management and running of all or parts of those systems is looking for expertise in raising funding, and software sales/growth in order to expand the business.   It produces web-based Digital Asset Management (DAM), business and e-commerce solutions designed to streamline workflows, and save time and money.  Reward could be a percentage of funds raised, sales commission or possibly an equity stake.

5) An internet-based service for tennis players which has been trading successfully for 5 years is seeking a Chief Technical Officer to manage the evolution of the technology platform, enabling the service to become player-centric and multi-sport.  Delivering the new service via applications on hand-held devices is a critical success factor.  You will be responsible for the technology road map, the management of third party software developers and software testing.  Sweat equity is available.

6) A company which offers the UK retail market a unique range of products with eco beneficial factors when used, is seeking a business partner to join its team.  The products are mainly consumables and at present are limited to fuels- briquettes for the winter- BBQs for the summer.  Other non-fuel products are available to be added to the range.  The ideal candidate will have experience of developing sales to the retail sector, have an interest in ecological matters and be enthusiastic about the success of the enterprise.  This role is offering commission.

7) A company which is poised ready to drive sales of a range of innovative, regulatory-approved, clinically proven, medical devices in the woundcare sector requires a sales director.  The candidate must be capable of leading the sales strategy in the UK, delivering actual sales, and working closely with its licensing and distribution partner in the US.  You will ideally have experience in the woundcare sector and of selling into the NHS.  Terms are subject to negotiation most likely a combination of salary, bonus and sweat equity available.
